FAQ

What is an ICO or ITO?

An initial coin offering (ICO) or initial token offering (ITO), is a way of raising funds from the public for the development of a product outside of the traditional VC world. Each project creates a new cryptocurrency in the form of tokens, which are then sold to the public to raise funds for project development.

If a product successfully completes their ICO/ITO funding goal, their tokens are distributed to those who bought them and they become tradeable on the cryptocurrency market.

What are tokens?

A token is a digital asset that is sold to the public during an ICO/ITO campaign, usually for other popular cryptocurrencies, namely BTC or ETH, or sometimes directly for fiat currency.Once an ICO campaign is complete, the token developers can release the tokens on an exchange, where they can be traded and fluctuate in value, like any other cryptocurrency.

What is an Airdrop?

Airdrop is a distribution of a cryptocurrency token or coin, usually for free, to a large number of wallet addresses. Airdrops are primarily implemented as a way of gaining attention and new followers, resulting in a larger user-base and a wider disbursement of coins.

What is a Bounty Program?

A bounty hunter is a participant in the initial coin offering (ICO) process who markets the offering to investors and audiences in exchange for incentives. The bounty hunter is generally paid in the form of ICO tokens that can later be redeemed into fiat currencies after the token is listed on a crypto exchange.
